Our Beliefs and Basis

The National Rainbow Coalition-Kenya is a political party in Kenya. This a partyKibaki formed after the defeat of the Government sponsored Draft constitution and one that promises to be one of the major contenders in the 2007 general elections in Kenya. It is formed by National Rainbow Coalition members loyal to the government. The party though months old captured 3 parliamentary seats (Nakuru Town, Saku and North Horr) and 2 Civic seats in the by-elections of 24/07/2006 that promised to be a litmus test for the up coming general elections.

Among the new party beliefs is that of healing and reconciliation, no discrimination on grounds of ethnicity, religion, color or on regional basis; Empowering and addressing issues affecting the youth and women. The party aims to unite Kenyans and provide an alternative political forum devoid of suspicions, nepotism and internal squabbles, strive to revive the economy and make the country rich and liberate the country from external loan burden by harnessing available resources alongside prudent management and also preach peace and unity among all Kenyans with leaders taking care of the people's interest first before their own.

It is seen by its supporters as a party that is rooted on improvement of the social/economic well being of Kenyans and not just playing politics

In the party structure representation of every Kenyan through the various party leagues and organs right from national; level to the grassroots is ensured. The party’s slogan is "One Kenya one nation, one people"
